To my sweet friend, who is suffering.
I can't see you, but I can feel your burden.
It may be from the loss of a child.
Or the idea of a child.
The loss of a parent maybe.
A struggle with depression, or
A struggle with your marriage.
But none the less, to those who are suffering.
Today, my Prayer is for you.
Take comfort in knowing that you are not alone.
We are never suffering alone.
You may feel sullen, deprived, confused, and anxious.
But you have never been alone.
"Not only so, but also glory in our sufferings,
because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
perseverance , character;
and character, hope.
And hope does not put us to shame."
So today, I am praying for those of you out there who are suffering.
It may be quiet.
It may be sullen.
And it may be lonely,
but you are certainly not alone.
